You as a youth must learn how the parish must conduct their affairs in an orderly manner. The youth of today are the adults, parents and leaders of tomorrow. Avoid those who claim to give good advise but are really moving to create chaos and disruption, as well as seeking their own glory. All glory must go to God and no one else.
There are two conditions of any organisation, order or chaos- there is no in between. Either it has order or is in chaos, there is no in between state of existence.
Give respect to leaders which you have elected, instead of trying to disrupt, and undermine their leadership. Stay away from people who do not respect elected leaders, and do not be afraid to rebuke them. Who themselves were not elected for that particular role, but want to lead by force or are encouraged by other bad hearted individuals. What goes round comes round. God sees how you serve your leaders, and when you yourself become a leader, God sees to it that what you sowed, whether good or bad, that is what you will reap. You cannot do bad and expect to receive good benefits. Good seed produces good fruit, and bad seed produces bad fruit.
Develop yourself in the right direction in the eyes of God, for which you and your organisation use his name. Do not blindly follow any elderly advice without soundly checking them against God's doctrines in the Bible. That is how you should develop as a youth, for the time will soon come when you will be accountable for your every action. You cannot stand up in the court of man or God and say that this certain elder advised me to do this thing or that thing- whoever gives you unsound and bad advise will not be the one to suffer the consequences of your decisions concerning yourself and your reputation.
For every good thing that you do is another way of giving glory to your creator, and everything bad you do is being disrespectful or an abomination to him.
Attend meetings and plead your case before those in attendence just as you would before God in prayer. The meetings allow all to deliberate and plan everything good for the organisation. Everything passed at the meetings should have been thoroughly discussed and planned so that the pros will outperform the cons. Carry out only those things that have been passed at the meetings.
People who have done things that have not been passed in meetings have done so because they seek glory and attention and shown the height of their disrespect for their leaders, the organisation, the parish, the church and God. In their eyes which see only themselves, they do not want peace and harmony but strife and chaos for what has been assembled- people in the name of God.
It is not fitting for people to come together in the name of God to seek their own Glory or rewards. People should leave their excess luggage at home when they come together to give praise to God and do his work.
What is God's work?
Preach the good news that Jesus Christ died for our sins and has redeemed us in God's eyes. Feed the hungry. Clothe the poor. Visit the prisoners. Give comfort to the sick and dying. Respect others as you do yourself. Love one another. Keep his commandments. In these works, you can Glorify "him" that created you.
God's work is not for you to elect your leaders and then undermine their authority that you gave them, just to show that you think your are smarter. That is more like seeking glory for yourself. There are always other self centered and vain ulterior motives.
You should instead try to help your leaders because being a leader is not an easy job. Advise them on genuinely helpful topics. It is unGodly to give unsound advice to or mislead your leaders, or anyone for that matter.
We cannot claim to be followers of Christ unless we first love one another. If we can't do that, then we have chaos. For God is all about order through all generations of his creation.
Do not turn away as a youth from reading your bible and following it's wise counsels, for if you practice it's wise counsels in your life, you will be like a tree planted by the river in good soil and and sunshine which will produce much good fruit, and will be blessed by God himself. And those blessings will overflow from you to those around you. This has been proven in every generation and in every country of man's existence. These are the blessings of God, and it is part of his truth. For no one but God alone is absolute truth.
Not at all! Let God be true, and every man a liar. As it is written: " So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge."
